About

Missy Mans is an inventive artist and photographer from Old Orchard Beach, Maine. She enjoys capturing moments from her daily walk on the sand where she lives as each day brings something new to appreciate.

Ms. Mans' work ranges from a broad catalog of beach elements, flowers and birds to photo journalism.  Her images are captured only from natural states - nothing is ever staged

Missy loves watching the light change on the water in the morning or evening, watching the various birds on the beach or seeing beautiful sea grass, sand or shell arrangements on the sand made by the wind and surf.

She always finds joy in the synchronized movements of the various sandpipers and observes the piping plovers during their annual visits as they nest.  Each well captured image is a triumph that she loves to share. Missy is an avid supporter of Maine Audubon and reports on piping plover activity to the monitoring group there.

After a career in various corporate leadership roles, Missy is embarking on a new path with the launch of Walk On The Beach.  She gathers inspiration from natural materials and settings and strives to share the wonder of what she sees with others.
